SAP PP How to Display Stock/Requirement List

The Stock/Requirement List (transaction MD04) is one of the most important tools in SAP PP. It shows everything that affects the stock level of a material, including: Demand (Requirements), and Supply (Receipts).

It gives a real-time view of how stock will change in the future. Planners use MD04 daily to decide whether to produce, purchase, or adjust planning.

Prerequisites -

• The material should be created with valid MRP data.
• Should know correct plant information.
• Demand or supply entries must exist.
• MRP views should be maintained.

Here’s a step-by-step to Display Stock/Requirement List –

Step-1: - Enter the transaction code MD04 in SAP command field and press Enter to continue.

Step-2: - Stock/Requirement List: Initial Screen window appears. Enter the details in the fields Material, Plant , MRP Area.

Step-3: - After entering the details, click on right mark or press Enter button.

Step-4: - Stock/Requirement List window appears with list of materials.
